History Of Cagiva

Italian company that manufactures motorcycles. It was founded in 1950 by Giovanni Castiglioni in Varese, originally producing small metallic components. It went into motorcycle business in 1978. The MV Agusta and Husqvarna brands are now part of the Castiglioni company, branded under the MV Agusta name. It is currently owned by Giovanni's sons, Claudio and Gianfranco Castiglioni.
